At Core Behavior Skills, we value independence. We are willing to teach you all of the necessary skills that you need to be able to overcome challenging behaviors and identify successful and unsuccessful events.
Often, the success of a regular behavior plan relies heavily on the cooperation of parents. We have reduced many problem behaviors by showing parents what they can do when challenging behaviors arise. Children will not get the proper amount of time being reinforced with positive behaviors if their parents are not part of the plan. Parents are able to work with their children during the hours that school and therapists are not. Therefore, it is essential for parents to also take part in the plan which leads to change and success.
